Isis provides this service to both relatives and friends of people with mental health
problems and people experiencing mental distress themselves. This can range from
a listening ear, to helping individuals to take positive steps to deal with any
particular problems.
Although clients are asked to make appointments for comprehensive
consultations, Isis is also flexible in its approach, and recognises that members should be
able to access services when THEY want it, so "Drop In's" are available

and generally ensuring our members views are heard and respected.
These services offer practical support as well as advocacy to families who have a

mental health issues.
Isis facilitates workshops and makes presentations at conferences and seminars
designed to raise awareness of the issues of importance in the mental health field
as they affect African and African-Caribbean people.
An open day is held every month to facilitate information exchanges.
Isis works collaboratively with, Havering College, Brunel University, Kent University,
